On 3rd shift, you’ll be the go‑to expert who keeps our manufacturing operation humming—solving problems before they slow production and making smart upgrades that boost reliability and efficiency.

A night on the floor

You start by reviewing scheduled preventive tasks, then walk the line to check critical assets. A machine trips a fault—within minutes you’re diagnosing an electrical control issue, tracing wiring, and swapping a component on a circuit board. Later, you fine‑tune a pneumatic valve, adjust a hydraulic system, and close out precise documentation. Between calls, you prep for an upcoming equipment installation, lend a hand rearranging workspaces, and coordinate with production to time a quick upgrade that eliminates a recurring downtime cause. Before shift end, you verify snow and ice are cleared for safe morning access and finish a touch‑up paint job that keeps the facility looking sharp.

What you’ll take on

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance to OEM standards and internal plans.
• Respond rapidly to breakdowns to reduce downtime and restore production safely.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems—including hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Diagnose electrical/control issues, wiring faults, and circuit board components.
• Assist with installing new machinery and support commissioning.
• Perform upgrades and modifications that improve performance and efficiency.
• Handle facilities tasks: move furniture, set up work areas, and reconfigure layouts.
• Complete painting and touch‑ups to maintain a clean, professional environment.
• Oversee winter snow removal and ice management to ensure safe access.
• Tackle general building maintenance: minor repairs, basic plumbing, and HVAC care.
• Follow all safety procedures; ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Maintain thorough records: work orders, parts usage, and time tracking.
• Escalate major issues and recommend improvements to leadership.
• Collaborate closely with maintenance teammates and production staff.
• Communicate priorities clearly with supervisors and cross‑functional partners.
• Pitch in on company initiatives and other duties as needed.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree/certified Industrial Maintenance program preferred.
• 3–5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Hands‑on expertise with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency with maintenance tools and diagnostic instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Solid knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
