Machine Operator| 1st & 2nd Shift

Location: Glendale Heights

Schedule: Monday - Thursday (4 - 10's)

Pay: $20 - 28

We are seeking a skilled Screw Machinist to operate multi-spindle screw machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves machining metal bar stock , reading blueprints , and setting up tooling for precision production.

• Operate multi-spindle screw machines to perform turning, boring, threading, and facing
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Select cutting tools, speeds, and feed rates based on materials and job requirements
• Install and adjust cams, gears, collets, and tooling
• Monitor machine operation and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Perform basic troubleshooting and tool changes

• Experience operating screw machines (Davenport or similar)
• Strong ability to read blueprints and machining drawings
• Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and shop math
• Experience with measuring instruments
• Ability to stand, lift, and work in a manufacturing environment

This is a Contract position based out of Glendale Heights, IL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $50.00/hr.
