Front Office Associate Outpatient Oncology Bilingual

Introduction As a Front Office Associate with the Oncology Institute, you will advance your career while making a positive impact on underserved patients by providing dignity, empathy, and excellence. Our position is located in our clinic in Whittier, California. Travel to other nearby offices will be required; mileage will be reimbursed. We’re looking for a patient‑focused and compassionate team member who will influence patient care as a critical member of the entire care team. Responsibilities Greet and check‑in patients, collect co‑pays and payments. Interview patients for health history and current medications (health screening). Participate in mandatory staff meetings as needed. Schedule appointments and answer incoming phone calls. Promote the institute’s culture of exceptional customer service. Maintain confidentiality and security of all organizational information, including financial and client data. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D. required. Bilingual in Spanish and English. Experience Medical receptionist: 1 year (preferred).
