The Plant Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial, accounting and manufacturing cost-related activities of the plant. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to the plant management team, providing financial guidance and expertise to support business decisions. Responsibilities Oversee all financial operations of the plant including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Develop and implement financial strategies for the plant, including cost reduction initiatives and efficiency improvements. Monitor and control plant assets, revenues, and expenses to ensure financial goals are met. Utilize Lean Accounting and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance financial performance and business processes. Implement and manage cost accounting systems and procedures, ensuring accurate product costing and inventory valuation. Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing detailed analysis and insight into plant performance. Coordinate with corporate finance to ensure alignment with company policies and procedures. Manage material management processes to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste. Collaborate with plant management team on capital expenditure projects, providing financial analysis and recommendations. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards. Implement and manage SAP systems in the plant to enhance financial reporting and control. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. MBA preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a plant controller or similar role in the manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial management principles. Proven experience with strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Experience with Lean Accounting and Six Sigma methodologies. Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
