Doctor of Medicine | Anesthesiology - General/Other Location: Asheville, NC Employer: Wellhart, LLC Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: 12/14/2026 About the Position We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist for our client in North Carolina, commencing a 60-day assignment on Oct 12, 2026. This role primarily involves night shifts from 5 PM to 8 AM within a care team model, focusing on supervisory duties, with occasional opportunities to manage own cases. The Physician will handle a diverse range of complex procedures, including busy OB, trauma, and vascular cases, and must be proficient in peripheral nerve blocks. Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive anesthesia care within a care team model, primarily in a supervisory role. Occasionally manage own cases, covering a variety of scenarios including busy OB, trauma, designated stroke center, vascular, neuro, urology, and ortho procedures. Perform peripheral nerve blocks as required. Additional Information Board Certification in Anesthesiology is required. Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred. Shift hours are 5 PM to 8 AM.
