Astria Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team! This position is located at our Astria Sunnyside Hospital in the Therapy Department.

Shift: 8: 00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday.

What you get to do every day!

As the Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for responsible for providing Physical Therapy evaluation and treatment utilizing evidenced-based interventions and reports to the Director of Therapy Service or Director of Rehabilitation Therapies. You will:

• Evaluates patients and interprets findings to develop an individualized plan of care to meet the needs and goals of the patient per Physician orders.
• Establishes and implements treatment interventions as guided by best practice and evidence-based theory to achieve treatment goals.
• Implements treatment programs through direct treatment with patient.
• Throughout therapy process methodically plans for appropriate discharge once patient goals are met.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
• Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy curriculum
• Current Washington State Physical Therapist License or eligible
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Oral and written fluency in the English language.

Preferred Qualifications and Education.

• Bilingual speaking English/Spanish
• One year hospital or outpatient experience
