Description:

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Tech for a night shift position. The hours for this role are from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Friday through Sunday, with occasional scheduled holidays. Candidates should have experience in the decontamination of various items including drills and scopes. The position requires assembly of instruments across multiple service lines and a strong understanding of the sterilization process including both Sterrad and steam methods. Candidates must also have experience in high-level disinfection and sterile storage protocols. An understanding of OR liaison responsibilities is crucial as well as experience with instrument tracking systems. The role necessitates the ability to float to other locations as needed. This position serves as a liaison between the Operating Rooms and sterile processing areas to ensure safe and effective reprocessing of medical supplies. Candidates will be responsible for procuring and standardizing instrument trays across various locations. This role requires completion of fingerprinting and credentialing processes in a timely manner. Two professional references are required, one of which must be from a supervisor or someone in a formal leadership role. No coworker references will be accepted. This position is designed for those who exhibit both technical and interpersonal skills in a demanding environment.
