Branch Operations ManagerAdvance your career as a Full-time Branch Operations Manager, where you'll take the reins in steering our operational functions towards excellence. From training and developing the operations team members to meticulously managing branch assets, your role is pivotal in achieving both short-term and long-term company goals. This includes, but is not limited to, overseeing all operational functions such as managing branch assets, coordinating efficient scheduling of inventory management tasks and deliveries, quoting and purchasing product and implementing new processes to improve efficiency. This position is for our branch located at 1116 E Main St, Whitewater, WI 53190.The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Maintaining and controlling branch assets; specifically Accounts Receivables, Inventory and FleetDeveloping and training the operations team to achieve optimal business results as well as personal goalsSourcing, quoting and purchasing new and existing productsReceiving, inspecting, scanning, packing and shipping productParticipating in continuous improvement activities and implementing new business processesSupporting operations and customer service activitiesCoordinating and supporting deliveries for the branch utilizing a company vehiclePerforming other duties as needed to ensure branch successThe following skills and qualifications are required for this position:18 years of age or olderPossess at least 1 year of Fastenal work experienceExcellent written and oral communication skillsProficient computer skillsDemonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgencyDemonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilitiesExhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skillsHighly motivated, self directed and customer service orientedLearn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environmentDemonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamworkLift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbsPass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
