Transit IT Systems Engineer & Operations

What You’ll Do In this role, you will support our projects in planning and implementing reliable IT infrastructure solutions. You will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and improving server environments and related system components. The position involves working with modern technologies to ensure stable, secure, and scalable deployments. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and customers to deliver robust systems that support our software solutions. Key Responsibilities Administration, maintenance, and optimization of Windows and Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) servers Set up and management of web servers such as IIS, NGINX, or Apache Creation, management, and optimization of Docker containers Deployment and operation of Docker Compose environments Knowledge of handling TLS certificates Monitoring of systems, services, and applications, including alerting Performance analysis, troubleshooting, and incident management Consulting, supporting customers in planning and implementing IT infrastructure projects Qualifications Completed training or a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification Several years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, ideally in a project-based environment Experience in public transport, particularly regarding E-mobility, would be advantageous.
