Pediatrics Physician

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Physician to provide locum tenens call coverage for an established pediatric practice in Edenton, North Carolina. This opportunity involves a mix of nursery and pediatric coverage, with hotel accommodations provided near the hospital while on call.

Coverage Dates
All shifts are 24-hour coverage from 7:00 AM 7:00 AM:
October 9 11: 7:00 AM start
October 22
November 25, 27, 28 & 29
December 23, 28 & 30
January 1
Call & Coverage Details
Mix of nursery and pediatric coverage
Provider is not required to remain at the hospital while on call
Provider will stay at a hotel near the hospital and will be called in if needed on-site
Required attendance at C-sections when requested by the OB provider
No pediatric intensivist on staff
No ICU or critical care responsibilities
No ER backup coverage required
Locum provider will not respond to codes unless required in the nursery
Patient Volume
Approximately 1 inpatient admission per day
Average inpatient census includes approximately 1 baby born per day
Orientation
The provider will need to come in the day before the first shift for orientation and EHR training.
