Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking experienced Skilled Carpenters for a local construction company in Wichita Falls, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal stud framing, wood framing, and finish carpentry , including trim installation and detail work. This position requires a commitment to quality craftsmanship, safety, and teamwork while working on a variety of commercial and residential projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform metal stud framing and wood framing with precision and accuracy
- Execute finish carpentry tasks, including trim installation and detailed finish work
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials using standard carpentry tools
- Install framing, trim, fixtures, and other carpentry components
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and project requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines
- Previous experience in metal stud framing, wood framing, and finish carpentry required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Must provide and use basic carpentry tools, including:
- Tape measure
- Hammer
- Utility knife
- Other essential hand tools
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Work pants or jeans (no holes, rips, or tears)
- Plain T-shirt with sleeves
- Steel-toed boots
- Safety vest
- Hard hat
- $25.00-$30.00 per hour DOE
- Full benefits package offered
