Senior iOS Developer

Salary: $95,000 - 135,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant professional software development experience, including substantial professional experience developing for either Android or iOS.
• Demonstrated ability to independently deliver complex production applications or major application features.
• Advanced expertise on one primary platform: Android (Kotlin, Java, Android Studio, Android SDK/frameworks) or iOS (Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, iOS SDK/frameworks). Secondary-platform experience is beneficial but not required.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns, APIs, networking, application security, data persistence, and cloud-connected applications.
• Experience with Bluetooth/BLE-connected products is preferred.
• Proficiency with Git/source control, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong debugging, root-cause analysis, technical leadership, mentorship, project estimation, planning, and communication skills; ability to manage complex technical assignments independently.
• Regular and predictable attendance, occasional availability outside standard hours for meetings or company events, and ability to sit at a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to move around the facility and perform physical activities, including lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted, bending, standing, climbing, or walking; visual and hearing acuity.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States and, where applicable, authorization to possess technical data as defined by ITAR 22 CFR 120.10.

• Design, develop, test, release, and maintain production Android or iOS applications, serving as the technical expert for the primary platform.
• Lead complex application features and projects from technical definition through production release, and develop scalable, maintainable application architectures.
• Translate product requirements and user needs into technical requirements and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineers and Product Engineers on applications for connected consumer products, and work with teams across Product Development, Product Design, Creative, Marketing, Ecommerce, and IT.
• Lead integrations with APIs, cloud services, Bluetooth/BLE devices, databases, and third-party services.
• Establish platform-specific development practices, conduct code reviews, guide developers, and mentor junior developers and interns.
• Identify technical risks, architecture concerns, technical debt, and opportunities for improvement; estimate work and contribute to development planning.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of complex production issues.
• Ensure applications meet performance, reliability, security, accessibility, and usability requirements, and maintain compatibility with operating systems, devices, SDKs, app-store requirements, and third-party dependencies.
• Participate in release planning and production deployment; maintain technical documentation, specifications, and test requirements.
• Evaluate technologies, recommend improvements to our application development practices, and lead or contribute to new software and connected-product concepts.
• Perform other duties as assigned; responsibilities may change or be supplemented according to business needs and conditions.
