The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is in the famed Deer Valley ski resort and approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is part of a new development, planned to incorporate 17 ski lifts, ±1,600 residential units, 8 hotels with a total of ±1,350 rooms, ±250,000 square feet of conference and retail space, and one of the largest “ski beaches” in the world. We are seeking an energetic, service-driven professional to join our Front Office leadership team. This role is ideal for an emerging leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting the day-to-day operations of a dynamic hotel environment. The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the leadership of Front Office operations (Front Office, Guest Services, and PBX), ensuring seamless guest experiences and efficient team performance. This role assists with staff supervision, scheduling, training, financial controls, and service delivery while maintaining Hyatt's high standards of hospitality. This role does require open availability, including weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: •Support daily Front Office operations and colleague performance •Create and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage •Assist with hiring, training, and ongoing development of team members •Process payroll and support accurate timekeeping practices •Maintain cash control procedures for Front Office agents •Provide personalized service and support for VIP guests •Ensure guest satisfaction goals and service standards are consistently met •Collaborate with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience •Promote and enforce safety standards and operational procedures Why Work at Hyatt? Knowledge of computers and systems. Successful problem solving skills. Excellent overall communication skills. Ability to multi-task. Open availability Able to stand for extended periods.
