Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Additional healthcare or administrative training is a plus

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of data entry, administrative, or customer service experience
• Healthcare experience, medical terminology knowledge, or related education preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet production goals
• Experience working with confidential information preferred

Job Duties

• Review, organize, and prioritize incoming medical records
• Open and evaluate documents received through fax servers and email inboxes
• Enter and index medical records into the document management system
• Match records with appropriate health applications using identifiers
• Proofread enrollment information and accurately transpose data into letter templates
• Create and process a minimum of 90 letters per day
• Maintain quality and productivity standards established by leadership
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and internal departments
• Support enrollment operations and special projects as assigned
• Work overtime as needed to meet business demands

• Ability to remain seated or stand for extended periods while performing office tasks
• Frequent use of computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment
• Occasional lifting or moving of office supplies and materials up to 20 pounds
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and visitors
