Machine Operator

Load material and operate machines and auxiliary equipment used in the production of various products Read and understand verbal and written workorders to determine process specifications. Adjust manual controls or enter commands in computerized control panel to run appropriate programs. Monitor machine instruments, switches, and recorders and listen for warning signals during operation to ensure conformance to specifications, and modify or aborts process as required. Maintain manual or computerized processing records. Ensure that all products are produced to the highest quality standards Perform routine maintenance/ safety checks on machines Follow safety requirements Perform 5S Requirements for work area Attendance is critical in all positions; be on time to work daily Be dependable, reliable, and a positive team-player Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisor Work in a team environment Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and guidelines Follow procedures for handling hazardous materials when applicable, including obtaining necessary certifications Assist with other duties as assigned 2nd Shift- 3:30PM-1AM & Friday 11AM-3PM General Job Responsibilities Load material and operate machines and auxiliary equipment used in the production of various products Read and understand verbal and written workorders to determine process specifications. Hand/finger dexterity Visual acuity Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed All offers of employment at Leading Technology Composites are contingent upon the successful completion of a comprehensive background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
