Our client is seeking a Medical Assistant who is passionate about making a positive impact on patients through excellent service and quality care. This individual will help create a welcoming, professional environment by supporting both front-office responsibilities and clinical patient care.

The Medical Assistant will prepare patients for treatment, assist the physician with clinical procedures, maintain accurate medical records, and help ensure the office operates efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to examination rooms
• Enter and maintain clinical information in ModMed EMR
• Prepare, clean, and maintain treatment rooms
• Obtain and document patient medical histories, medications, and immunization records
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA and OSHA requirements
• Prepare for and assist with procedures and treatments as needed
• Perform proper sterilization techniques
• Monitor inventory of medical supplies and equipment and replenish as needed
• Collaborate with team members to support patient care and office goals
• Assist with additional administrative and clinical duties as needed to ensure efficient office operations

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous medical or clinical experience
• Experience with EMR systems, computerized processes, and data entry
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
• Self-motivated, accountable, and responsible
• Ability to work effectively in a patient-focused environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and maneuver in smaller spaces
• Possess gross and fine motor skills
• Ability to occasionally sit, bend, or kneel
• Ability to lift or move up to 15 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification
• Experience with ModMed
• Podiatry experience

Compensation

$39,000–$44,000 annually

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
