Foreman – Commercial Framing and DrywallQualifications:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Foreman Drywall Framer or similar roleAbility to learn new skills with attention to detailLift and/or pull 75lbs., climb ladders, work off ladders, man lifts or other equipmentAbility to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool beltDisplay basic computer skillsCapable of working in a variety of weather conditionsResponsibilities:Plan, organize, supervise, and provide expertise in performing journeyman-level Drywall Framer dutiesConsulting with clients and contractors in a professional manner, assigning tasks, ensuring jobs are completed in due time and work is performed according to South Valley Drywall standardsDiscipline, mentor and monitor the performance of employeesSupport activities at all South Valley Commercial job sites as directedReview project plan and blueprintsConfirm layout with drawings and coordination drawings or model, generate RFI's for conflicts or differing conditionsEstimate time, material, equipment, and supplies neededTrack production of all phases of framing, drywall, and finishingDevelop work schedules and crew assignmentAdhere to all OSHA and South Valley Commercial safety practices and proceduresDevelop and manage JHA's and Pre task planning, ensure crews are working safely and properly trainedMonitor inventories and request supplies and equipmentEnsure work areas are properly maintainedUtilize a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issuesComplete other responsibilities as assignedThe keys to success in this position are:Consistent, in-person management on job sitesEffective time managementMust be able to communicate effectively with General Contractors, Team Members, SVC Employees, and sub-contractor managementAbility to understand and adapt to different personalitiesJob Type: Full TimeLocation: Colorado- Denver Metro AreaSchedule: Monday- Friday (Must be able to work weekends when necessary)Salary and BenefitsSalary Range: $34-$40/hour, based on experience and qualificationsSouth Valley offers a comprehensive benefit plan that includes medical and dental insurance; 401(k); paid vacation, paid sick leave, life insurance, Section 125 Cafeteria Plan, job training and development; employee assistance program; flexible spending accounts; merchandise discounts and much more.South Valley is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other status protected by law or regulation.
