HAA CHECK AIRMAN / FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR VFR PILOT Full-Time Opportunity Missions that matter. Pilot Incentives – This is pilot life at Global Medical Response: Salary Range: $106,511 – $117,162, including 20% Geographic Modifier 15K Sign-On Bonus, subject to eligibility (upon completion of new hire pilot training) Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years in the GMR Pilot Retention Bonus Plan, plus additional retention bonuses once completed) Check Airman Stipend: $7,500 Flight Instructor Stipend: $7,500 7/7 Schedule Responsibilities Deliver initial and recurrent ground and flight training to ensure pilots meet operational and FAA requirements Prepare pilots for line duty in assigned aircraft and for successful FAA checkrides Develop and implement training programs that align with operational excellence and safety Participate in pilot performance evaluations and skills assessments Serve as a mentor and leader to lead pilots and aviation line instructor pilots Support new base development through clinical leadership and mentoringAssist in performance improvement programs (PIP) under the guidance of the Director of Standardization and Training Oversee pilot education, training documentation, and quality assurance within the assigned group Contribute to the hiring process for aviation personnel Coordinate training that supports CAMTS standards and monthly base reviews Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including the GOM, Ops Specs, Aviation Training Manual, and SOPs Fill in as a line pilot when required (e.g., vacations, sick leave) Maintain ongoing professional development and attend meetings as required Report directly to the Director of Standardization and Training or designated supervisor Minimum Requirements Certified Flight Instructor (CFI recommended; CFII preferred) Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate 3,000 Total Flight Hours (helicopter) 1,500 Helicopter PIC Hours 500 Cumulative Night Hours 230 pound weight limit with flight gear Preferred Qualifications ATP rating FAR Part 135 and EMS experience NVG experience Strong background in flight instruction Based at a location agreed upon with the Director of Operations (not necessarily an operating base); travel may be required in advance of assignments, with expenses reimbursed per company policy Why Choose REACH?
