Job OverviewA law firm seeks an Immigration Attorney in Phoenix, AZ. This role offers a promising opportunity for an admitted attorney to join a reputable firm with significant growth potential. The successful candidate will manage their caseload, engage with clients, and collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal assistants. Duties Develop strategy and prepare clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony. Represent individuals in removal proceedings at Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals. Manage a workload of diverse immigration cases. Conduct intake with detained individuals at centers. Prepare immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions. Review and adjust immigration applications/packets as needed. Collaborate with law enforcement and community organizations on immigration law changes. Conduct strategic immigration consultations with potential clients. Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases. Requirements 3-5 years of experience in Immigration Law. Team player with strong interpersonal skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Proven ability to manage a caseload and advance legal cases. Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and USCIS applications. Familiarity with Case Management Software preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admitted to practice law. Skills Strong legal analysis and strategic planning abilities. Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
