Onsite Account Representative209 Shellyland Rd, Manheim, PA 17545 PA407 In Plant Store Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pmOVERVIEW: Working as Full-time Onsite Account Representative, you will be responsible for all aspects of the customer relationship and will work with the customer's upper management to ensure business success and compliance with any national or local service agreements. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.RESPONSIBILITIES:Working directly with multiple customer contacts and building relationships with upper managementReceiving product; inspecting it for quality control, staging, scanning, and packing; and making deliveriesPurchasing product, quoting, sourcing, and managing inventoryDeveloping and executing a sales plan to reach and exceed business goalsCommunicating business statistics & progress toward goalsDeveloping continuous improvement programsDemonstrating and maintaining cost savings programsCreating a unique environment of program offeringsHandling day-to-day needs of the customerREQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:18 years of age or older, due to the nature of workPossess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as neededPossess a degree in Business/Marketing OR equivalent industry experience and knowledge of the local marketProficient using Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent written and oral communication skillsDemonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgencyDemonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilitiesExhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skillsHighly motivated, self directed and customer service orientedDemonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamworkLearn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environmentWork independently as well as in a team environmentLift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbsPass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Experience and success in Strategic/Key account or National Account salesPrior vending and implementation experienceKnowledge and experience using Timeline softwarePrior process mapping and DMAIC experienceExperience speaking and presenting to groups of peopleABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
