Radiologic Tech - Encinitas

New Hire Incentive available up to $8,000 for those who qualify.

This is a full-time position (80 hours per pay period) working 8-hour varied shifts. The role requires flexibility to work a variety of start times, weekends (minimum of 2 shifts per pay period), holidays, and participation in the on-call rotation. Occasional overnight coverage may be required when the dedicated graveyard technologist is unavailable.

Responsibilities include providing coverage in Inpatient X-Ray, the Emergency Department, Operating Room, Fluoroscopy, Outpatient X-Ray, and DEXA, with a primary focus on Operating Room support.

This position is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.

• New Graduates (Must have at least 1 year of Radiologic Tech experience)

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• CRT
• Fluoro Eligible (must obtain Fluoro within 6 months of hire date)
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT
• Strong OR and Fluoro experience
• DEXA experience
• Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting
