Course & Contracts Specialist

Job Title: Course & Contracts Specialist Location: Indianapolis Campus Job Type: Full-time Classification: N-4 Salary Range: $17.50-$20.00/hour (based on experience) Reports To: Assistant Director, Course & Contracts Administration About the Role This position provides coordination and comprehensive support in the management of the section building, supplemental pay request, and adjunct faculty contracts. Major Responsibilities Enter data into system for course sections (e.g., room and instructor assignments, consumable fees). Coordinate with facilities scheduler to assign classes to rooms. Generate faculty contracts. Process faculty substitution, extra pay, and course load sheets. Respond timely to change requests from Deans, Department Chairs, and Program Chairs. Monitor status of courses and contracts to ensure timely completion in line with Service Level Agreement (SLA). Follow quality control procedures to identify and resolve errors proactively. Generate and distribute reports to chairs as needed. Provide exceptional customer service and advocacy to support college, campus, programs, and student success. Engage in critical thinking to efficiently problem‑solve and resolve challenges. Promote an engaging environment by fostering inclusive behaviors. Education & Experience Associate degree from a regionally accredited higher education institution. Experience with Banner or another student information system. Strong attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Three to five years of administrative support experience. Prior experience in higher education. Experience using Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Sheets, Excel, Forms). Experience using Workday. Desired Personal Characteristics Confident and self‑motivated with a low ego.
