Non-Negotiables

• You must hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent field
• You must have 7-10 years of relevant engineering experience
• You must possess a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania
• You must have a strong background in municipal engineering and client representation
• You must be experienced in subdivision and land development plan review
• You must have practical knowledge of stormwater and drainage plan review, including MS-4 Program requirements
• You must demonstrate public works design experience and familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D

Responsibilities

• Serve as Township or Borough Engineer, providing direct support to municipal clients and attending public meetings to present technical findings
• Lead the review of development plans for compliance with subdivision, land development, zoning, grading, and stormwater ordinances
• Design stormwater management systems and detention basins, and prepare permitting packages for state and local agencies
• Manage escrow accounts, oversee construction administration, and coordinate project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Produce detailed technical reports, feasibility studies, and engineering assessments to guide municipal decision-making
• Contribute to municipal account management and business development by identifying opportunities to expand engineering services
• Support contractors and internal teams during construction phases by providing contract administration and budget tracking

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred candidates will have direct experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D for design and drafting
• Expertise in stormwater management and detention basin design is highly valued
• Experience with MS-4 Program administration and Pollutant Reduction Plans (PRPs) is a plus
• A proven track record of building and maintaining long-term municipal client relationships is desirable
• Strong project management skills, including escrow account oversight and construction administration, are preferred
• Additional certifications in related fields such as floodplain management or erosion control are advantageous
• Local knowledge of Pennsylvania municipal regulations and zoning ordinances is a strong plus
