Maintenance Manager - Metal Stamping / Automotive Manufacturing

Location: Chino, CA
Shift: Day Shift
Pay: $85,000 - $120,000/year

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations for a high-volume metal stamping and automotive manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maximizing equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, overseeing preventive maintenance programs, and leading a skilled maintenance team while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for production equipment and facility systems.
Supervise and develop maintenance technicians, electricians, and contractors.
Prioritize repairs to minimize downtime and support production schedules.
Maintain electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and facility systems.
Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance records, and CMMS.
Support IATF 16949/ISO 9001 compliance, audits, and corrective actions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and OEE.
Partner with Engineering and Production on equipment upgrades and new product launches.

Qualifications

Required:

5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Experience managing preventive maintenance programs and maintenance teams.
Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office.
Excellent leadership, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.

Preferred:

Experience in metal stamping or automotive manufacturing.
Knowledge of IATF 16949 and/or ISO 9001.
Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
