OVERVIEW

In this pivotal role, you will lead Polaris Pharmacy Services, spearheading the development and implementation of strategies aimed at enhancing operational excellence and delivering superior customer service within the designated pharmacy. As the General Manager, you will play a crucial role in guaranteeing operational excellence by ensuring the accurate delivery of medications to the appropriate destination at the designated times.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Run the operational performance of a designated pharmacy to achieve operational targets while maintaining all federal, state, and local compliance requirements. Ensures appropriate resources are mobilized and operating effectively to meet customer commitments. Consults with internal partners to develop action plans to address customer risks and opportunities. Use expertise in supply chain and pharmacy operations to ensure improved processes and create optimal efficiency of a pharmacy location. Implements enterprise-wide standard processes, programs, and procedures within a pharmacy location. Ensure medication delivery routes meet customer needs. Accountable for training and engagement of pharmacy staff to deliver on pharmacy goals. You are responsible for coaching and development of direct reports. Operate with strong business intuition; hold responsibility for overall location operation metrics, employee engagement, and compliance. Required Qualifications Operations management experience, including responsibility for managing workflow, resources, quality, and compliance. Bachelor's Degree or related experience Preferred Qualifications A Licensed Pharmacist in the State of practice and good standing. Demonstrated track record of operations management. Demonstrated track record of maintaining and improving customer satisfaction. Relevant sectors include healthcare and customer service. Demonstrated ability to diagnose operational challenges and deliver solutions in real-time. Demonstrated ability to hold teams accountable in a fair, supportive, and equitable manner. Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements and related metrics. Track record of proactively tackling issues in a timely and decisive manner, while keeping broader organizational dynamics in mind. Demonstrated abilities to perform under pressure, adapt to changing dynamics, and find solutions that satisfy multiple customers of the business. PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that should be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, crawl intermittently. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed. HOLIDAY & PTO POLICY

Paid holidays are provided annually, with 6 days offered each year, along with 5 sick days. Employees earn up to 10 PTO days each year, with rollover options and milestone bonuses. Employees have the option to cash out up to 10 PTO hours each quarter for added financial flexibility. Please note, because we are a pharmacy most of our locations are open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week and therefore schedules may change as determined by the needs of the business.
