Dental assistant

Assist dentists using four-handed dentistry techniques during examinations and procedures to optimize efficiency and patient comfort.
Prepare, sterilize, and manage dental instruments following strict infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis.
Maintain precise and confidential patient records, treatment plans, and documentation compliant with HIPAA regulations.
Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and provide receptionist support as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment options, and post-operative care to promote lasting dental health.
Collaborate with dental specialists across pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and general care.
Utilize electronic medical record systems such as Dentrix and Eaglesoft for efficient patient record management.

full-time $25 - $33 per hour

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday and weekends: Closed

Familiarity with dental terminology and anatomy for effective communication with patients and team members.
Experience in chairside assisting with skills in monitoring vital signs.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused attitude.

Experience working with 3D dental scanners and advanced dental technologies.
Previous employment in a dental clinic environment.
Knowledge of medical coding and documentation procedures.
