Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification: Child with Disabilities B-Age 5, K-8 or 7-12 (282)
• Experience or strong interest in supporting elementary-aged students
• Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to create a nurturing, inclusive classroom culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver tailored instruction for elementary students with diverse learning needs
• Adapt general education lessons and work alongside teachers to implement best practices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including parents, therapists, and administrators
• Monitor student progress through assessment, observation, and documentation
• Maintain compliance with special education laws, regulations, and policies
