Special Education Teacher | Topsham, Maine | 2026–2027 School Year

Are you a dedicated Special Education Teacher looking for your next school-based opportunity? ProCare Therapy is partnering with a school district in Topsham, ME to bring on a qualified Special Education Teacher for a full-time elementary school assignment for the upcoming school year.

This is an opportunity to join a school team where you can use your expertise to support students, collaborate with educators, and help create meaningful progress both inside and outside the classroom.

School Year: 2026–2027

Licensure Requirements

Candidates must hold an active Maine certification in one of the following areas:

Child with Disabilities, Birth–Age 5
K–8 Special Education (282)
7–12 Special Education (282)

Candidate Qualifications

Minimum of 2+ years of school-based Special Education experience
Active state-issued teaching licensure
Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a related field
