Details Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting Evening shift with flexible start times of 11am, 12pm, 2pm, or 4pm 36 or 48 hour shift schedules available EPIC EMR experience required Requirements Active CA RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Current PALS certification required TEAM, TEAM-A, or CPI certification required NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required BSN preferred Acute care facility experience preferred Minimum 3 years of recent ER experience required EPIC EMR experience required Additional Information Deliver coordinated nursing care using the full nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation Supervise and direct various levels of assigned nursing staff Coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to promote a safe and healing environment Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care Delegate duties appropriately and coordinate healthcare team activities Holiday RTO will not be approved Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered No radius requirement, with local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates Required vaccinations must be maintained as a condition of employment American Traveler Job ID P-748603.
