Anesthesiology Physician

Anesthesiologist

Location: PA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (30-minute lunch); coverage 2-3 weeks per month

Position Overview

Provide anesthesiology coverage in an ambulatory surgery center environment, including medical direction of CRNAs and performing cases as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia services across outpatient surgical specialties (no cardiac or OB cases)

Provide medical direction of CRNAs and manage own cases

Perform orthopedic cases with regional nerve blocks (high volume expected)

Provide care for patients across age groups, including occasional pediatric patients under one year for ENT procedures

Document care in the electronic health record (Epic)

Required Qualifications

Board certified in Anesthesiology

Active PA medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification

Active DEA

PALS, ACLS, and BLS

Credentialing / Onboarding

Credentialing timeframe: 60 days
