Schedule : Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
Pay Rate : $24.00/hr
Location : Franklin, OH
Manual Machinist Requirements/Qualifications

• Previous Manual Machinist experience required.
  
• Experience setting up and operating manual mills and lathes.
  
• Strong blueprint-reading and shop math skills.
  
• Ability to work accurately within required tolerances.
  
• Experience machining aerospace components and/or exotic materials preferred.
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned work.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  
• Willingness to learn new processes and share knowledge with team members.
  
• High school diploma or GED required.
  
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
  
• Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently bend, twist, turn, carry, walk, sit, stoop, and kneel.
  
• Ability to perform repetitive machining and manufacturing tasks.
  
• Must be able to successfully complete required vision screenings.
  

• Fabricate, modify, and repair parts, tooling, and machine components.
  
• Set up and operate manual horizontal lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.
  
• Determine the appropriate sequence of operations needed to complete machined products.
  
• Perform manual machining operations including turning, reaming, boring, facing, and threading.
  
• Build product acceptance tooling, fixtures, and gauges.
  
• Read and interpret blueprints, job routers, drawings, and specifications.
  
• Determine appropriate tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining methods.
  
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  
• Troubleshoot machining challenges and make adjustments to achieve required specifications.
  
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and productivity expectations.
  
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  
• Follow all company safety, quality, and operating procedures.
  
• Assist with training and knowledge-sharing with other team members as needed.
  

• Hands-on experience with manual machining equipment and processes.
