Senior Analyst, Language Systems and Processes

AbbVie seeks a Senior Analyst to oversee the Center of Language Excellence's ecosystem, workflows, and governance. The role bridges business stakeholders, IT, and vendors to ensure language systems operate effectively, consistently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary functional consultant for language ecosystem; advise on fit-for-purpose solutions and lead onboarding of new business functions
• Gather and translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and end-to-end workflow designs aligned with regulatory and compliance standards
• Partner with technical leads, IT, vendors, and MSP to evaluate new language technologies and confirm release readiness
• Triage incidents and enhancement requests, identify root causes, and own resolution follow-up with technical partners
• Drive continuous improvement through stakeholder feedback and standardization; maintain documentation and support training and adoption efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field plus 5 years experience, or Master's degree plus 4 years experience
• Experience in translation/language services, language operations, workflow design, or systems/process consulting
• Deep knowledge of language technology, workflow tools, AI capabilities, and enterprise process governance
• Strong ability to collaborate across business, IT, and vendor teams
• Demonstrated project and priority management skills for cross-functional, international work
• Understanding of regulated environments, documentation practices, and quality/compliance standards
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
