Process Engineer

The role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computes, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a Full-time onsite position, Monday through Friday, Hours TBD, with additional hours as business needs necessitate. Travel Possible travel to other Lincotek sites for training as required. Education and Skills Mechanical Engineer Degree Preferable Familiarity with thermal spray coating and diffusion heat treat experience and related equipment preferable Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings and customer specifications Strong knowledge of GD&T and measurement tools Knowledge of process engineering principles and manufacturing methodologies Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles Knowledge of quality control and statistical process control Knowledge of tooling/ fixturing design and implementation Exposure to CAD software Strong analytical skills with ability to identify areas for improvement Experience working with ISO 9001, NADCAP and other industry/customer regulations Experience working with multiple teams to develop new processes Contribute to non-conformance investigations and corrective action items along with root cause analysis. Problem solving skills with strong attention to detail Experience with reporting using Excel (Vlookup, formulas, tables, etc.) or any other data collection system. Able to communicate with co-worker and management in an effective manner Hitemco LLC.
