About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Programs to join its mission-driven organization. This senior leadership role is pivotal in shaping the strategic direction of a comprehensive program portfolio that serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing visionary, hands-on leadership to a team of Program Directors and the Director of Quality, ensuring a culture of accountability, continuous quality improvement, and person-centered service. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, program oversight, operations, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, team leadership, staff development, fiscal management, and stakeholder relationships. The role demands a leader with a graduate degree in a related field, a minimum of 15 years of progressive nonprofit leadership experience, and a proven track record in managing significant program budgets and leading performance-based programs with measurable community impact. Applicants for the Vice President of Programs position at the company should possess exceptional leadership presence, superior communication skills, and a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The role requires a candidate with a background in regulatory compliance, licensure, and quality assurance within a Massachusetts DDS-funded environment, as well as substantial experience in budget development and fiscal management.
