Dental Assistant

Dental Assistant supports dental practices by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and providing chairside assistance during procedures. Key duties include taking dental X-rays, updating patient records, and instructing patients on oral hygiene. Ideal candidates are compassionate, team-oriented professionals, often requiring certification from an accredited program and x-ray certification.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, motivated Dental Assistant to join our team to provide top-tier patient care and assist our dentists in delivering exceptional dental services. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Chairside Assistance: Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including restorative, surgical, and hygiene appointments.
Patient Care: Greet patients, escort them to treatment rooms, and prepare them for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
Infection Control: Sterilize instruments, set up treatment rooms, and maintain operatories according to OSHA regulations.
Imaging: Take high-quality digital dental x-rays as directed.
Lab Work: Fabricate temporary crowns, take impressions, and pour study models.
Documentation: Accurately record patient treatment notes and dental charts.
Inventory Management: Monitor dental supplies and assist with inventory management.

full-time $18 - $23 per hour

Position: Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
Compensation: $17 - $23/hour (DOE - Depending on Experience)
Position Type: Full-time (35-40 hours/week)

This is an entry level position. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn as we will be training you to fit in with the practice.
- Bilingual (Spanish./English) is required
-Familiarity with Dentrix and Patterson Dental preferred but not required
-Certified in Radiography Preferred
-Willingness to learn is a must
