This is an opportunity to join the leadership team as a Tax Partner, where you'll have the autonomy to grow your practice, strengthen client relationships and help shape the future direction of the firm. What you'll be doing
- Serve as the trusted advisor to a portfolio of privately held businesses, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth clients.
- Lead complex tax planning strategies across a broad range of industries and entity types.
- Review and sign off on sophisticated tax engagements while maintaining the highest technical standards.
- Build lasting relationships with business owners and executive leadership teams, becoming their first call for strategic tax advice.
- Mentor, coach and develop the next generation of tax professionals, helping shape future firm leaders.
- Play an active role in recruiting, succession planning and developing a high-performing tax team.
- Drive practice growth through business development, referral relationships and expanding existing client engagements.
- Collaborate with fellow Partners on firm strategy, quality initiatives and long-term business planning.
- CPA licence in good standing.
- 10-15+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience.
- Demonstrated success managing complex tax engagements and advising business owners.
- Proven ability to develop and grow client relationships.
- A track record of business development and generating new revenue for a CPA firm.
- Strong leadership experience with a passion for mentoring and developing teams.
- Excellent technical tax knowledge combined with commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
- Advise an exceptional portfolio of privately held businesses, family-owned companies, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals across a wide range of industries.
