Junior Transactional Attorney

Help improve legal AI by applying transactional-law judgment to contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining scenarios. This part-time remote contract role gives early-career attorneys the opportunity to evaluate how AI interprets contract language, identifies risk, and supports real-world legal work. Key Responsibilities

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
• Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing feedback that improves precision and performance.
• Apply objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria consistently to contract-related AI tasks.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review.

• 1 to 3 years of transactional experience in-house or at a law firm.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining contracts, including MSAs and NDAs. Familiarity with LPAs and ISDAs is relevant.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and close attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
• Interest in the intersection of law, technology, and AI.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Exposure to AI, legal technology, or training initiatives.
• Corporate law firm experience or internship experience, ideally involving M&A or fund formation.

• Remote, part-time independent contractor engagement.

• $70 to $90 per hour.
