Lead Engineer, HP NonStop Development

Responsibilities Analyze business requirements and problems and deliver quality technical solutions Develop existing applications and contribute to new applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement Design and perform website/applications software tests and respond to user emails to monitor, diagnose, and correct performance issues Monitor, identify, and correct complex software defects to maintain fully functioning applications software Make recommendations for the development of new code or reuse of existing code May lead assigned projects, including assigning tasks, coordinating efforts, and monitoring performance Remains current with new technologies Participate in software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation Create and maintain technical and/or user documentation to a high standard Clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups Requirements More than five (5) years of relevant development or engineering experience Experience in HP NonStop COBOL85, HPNS SQL/MX and SQL/MP Experience in Pathway servers and configuration Experience working on HP NonStop/Tandem Guardian OS application development Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience Experience working in Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid software development methodologies Experience with brokerage and clearing business/industry is nice to have Experience with Middle Office and Back Office domains is a strong plus Experience with messaging platforms (e.g., MQ) is a plus Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio Excellent verbal and written communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
