Quality Inspector
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Location: Carrollton
Schedule: 1st shift: 5am- 2:30pm, 2nd shift: 2:30pm - 11:30 pm (Onsite)
Compensation: $20-22/hour (Plus shift differentials: +$1.00/hr for 2nd shift; +$1.50/hr for overnight shifts) RESPONSIBILITIES:

Compensation: $20-22/hour (Plus shift differentials: +$1.00/hr for 2nd shift; +$1.50/hr for overnight shifts) RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Inspect production areas, production processes, and finished goods produced.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment according to maintenance schedules, GMP requirements, and SOPs.
- Monitor cleanliness of production.
- Reads, understands, and follows SOPs; complies with current GMP as required by FDA.
- Swab all production equipment's clean and sanitized by sanitation, with an ATP instrument to ensure they meet the pass threshold.
- Prepare and drop off customer samples for shipment.
- Document all retained samples pulled in Excel workflow.
- Detail review of BOM and production process prior to production.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Two to four years related experience or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, computer and equipment validation, GMPs, and product/process validation.
- Ability to develop clear, concise, and timely oral and written reports.
- Experience with laboratory environment, equipment, safety procedures, and research and development
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage a high volume of priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific methods.
- Continually required to stand and walk
- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
- Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl
- Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard
- Occasionally/Frequently/Continually required to lift/push/carry items less than 25 pounds/ up to 25 pounds/ up to 50 pounds/ more than 50 pounds
- Occasionally/Frequently/Continually work near moving mechanical parts
