Job Title: Guidewire Solution Architect
Location: Hybrid – Markham, Illinois
Employment Type: W2 / 1099
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and define Guidewire architecture best practices.
- Design and review solution artifacts and mentor development teams.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and technology partners.
- Drive problem-solving and recommend scalable design solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
Commercial Insurance
- Strong experience in underwriting, policy lifecycle, rating, endorsements, renewals, audits, and claims.
- Understanding of commercial product structures and submission intake modernization.
Guidewire & Integration
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, Workbench, APD, and Integration Framework.
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform and migration strategies.
- Expertise in integrating Guidewire with CRM, broker systems, document repositories, pricing engines, finance, and payment applications.
- Strong integration architecture and implementation experience.
Cloud & Leadership
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS or Azure certification preferred).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project lifecycle.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
