Step into a dynamic role supporting students’ communication and language development in a vibrant school environment near Buda, TX! We are seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children. This contract opportunity spans K-12 settings, with a primary focus on younger students, offering a rewarding variety of ages and needs to work with daily.
Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, adaptable, and dedicated to collaborative work with staff and families. If you are excited about helping students unlock their potential—whether you are an experienced SLP, CFY, or hold your CCC, your expertise is welcome here!
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Holds or eligible for SLP license in Texas
- ASHA CCCs preferred; New graduates completing CFY also considered
- Pediatrics and school-based experience highly valued
- Minimum of two years previous experience is preferred
- Comfortable working with a K-12 caseload, predominantly with younger students
- Strong communication and team-building skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
- Manage a diverse caseload efficiently and professionally
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and parents
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered decision-making
- Maintain accurate records and data collection for student progress
