This position plays a vital role in supporting customers and field service technicians by delivering expert troubleshooting, parts research, training, and occasional on-site technical support. If you've got strong mechanical aptitude and love solving technical puzzles, this is the role for you.Key Responsibilities:Customer & Technical Support:Provide phone and online support for machine assembly, troubleshooting, and repairAssist customers and Field Service Techs with part identification, availability, and pricingInterpret blueprints and schematics to guide technical diagnostics and solutionsResearch and source obsolete parts and customer-specific needsTraining & Documentation:Conduct technical training on topics like hydraulics, electrical systems, blueprint reading, and machine assemblySupport development of the internal knowledge base and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Offer one-on-one coaching and training for Service Team membersHands-On & Field Work:Occasionally travel to perform on-site repair and troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systemsOperate, service, and support machine systems including saws, PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and ServosAdditional Duties:Collaborate with Service leadership to enhance department processes and standardsRepresent the company with professionalism and adherence to core valuesOther tasks as assignedQualifications:Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; hydraulic systems experience requiredAbility to troubleshoot 24VDC – 480VAC systemsExperience with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and Servos a plusBasic machining experience (drilling, milling, sawing)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and customer-focusedComfortable working independently and as part of a teamAbility to lift up to 25 lbsMust hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to travel domestically and occasionally internationallyWhat We Offer:Competitive payHealth & dental insurance401(k) with employer matchProfit sharingCareer growth and ongoing training opportunities
