Warranty Administrator

Job DescriptionMileOne Autogroup is looking to add an experienced Automotive Warranty admin to our team! Warranty Administrators ensure the dealership is paid for warranty work by preparing, recording, submitting, and following up on all claims and reconciling them accordingly.Experience Everything MileOne has to Offer:Competitive compensation $45,000 - $65,000 depending on experience levelTraining and mentoringGreat opportunities for advancementPositive, success-driven work environmentEssential Duties:Process all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation and verifying criteria required by factory or distributorNotifies management of any deviations, and corrections required, and works closely with the service team to ensure the integrity of the repair ordersKeep abreast of all factory recalls and announcementsWorks with departments involved in warranty to maintain proper proceduresReconcile all warranty receivables and work with the accounting department to obtain paymentsResubmit all rejected claims promptly or receives authorization to write them offFollow up on payment of outstanding claims, reporting anything that requires an escalated issue, i.e. contacting the warranty help lines, rep, etc.Maintain a professional appearance and a neat work areaPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:The Warranty admin we are seeking will need to handle all aspect of claim submission with a proactive approach to follow the claim from claim creation, to submission, to payment, to posting and clearing adjustments to the schedule.Must be able to handle all rejected claims according to dealer/manufacturer specifications and follow up on outstanding claims.Willingness to help assist/train dealership personnel to accurately process claims promptly ensuring all manufacturer requirements are met.Knowledge of Claims statement postingAble to reconcile warranty receivableHandling of extended warranty claim payments and extended warranty receivablesStrong attention to detail a plusDemonstrates a positive and professional attitudeKnowledge of Reynolds and Reynolds computer DMS system integration – will train on DMS if individual is the right candidateOur MileOne Employee Advantage:MileOne believes that taking care of our employees is the most important step in creating a positive workplace and a successful company.
