ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong clinical expertise and a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services to critically ill patients.

San Antonio, TX

Shift Details

Shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Weekend Requirements: Rotating weekends
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Unit Information

ICU Bed Capacity: 14 beds
Patient Ratios: 1:2 in ICU
Unit Staffing: 1 Patient Care Assistant (PCA), 1 Unit Coordinator (UC)
Patient Documentation System: Meditech
Floating Policy: As needed

Qualifications

Active Texas RN License (Temporary licenses are not accepted)
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
ACLS and BLS certifications required
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
Experience with vasopressors required
Meditech experience preferred

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Navy scrub top and pants, Navy or white scrub jacket
Nail Policy: Clean and healthy
Hair: Neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors
Facial Hair: Beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
Tattoos: Body art should be covered whenever possible
Visible piercings: Only ears allowed; others are prohibited
