If you're looking for a career where your skills are valued, your contributions matter, and you feel at home, Bright Light is the place for you.Location: Onsite Bedford ParkDays/Hours: Saturdays, with hours varying between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.Overview Of Key Responsibilities:Document the medical history of the patient prior to any examinationMaintains cleanliness of room, sterilize equipment and keep adequate stock of supplies on handCarefully position patient in order to obtain correct imaging, ensuring patient is comfortable and safe throughout procedureAdministration of aseptic injection technique for contrastAddress patient concerns during procedure, and explain CT process using tact, courtesy and poise to reduce anxiety to obtain patient cooperationMaintains quality of CT equipment by following company standards and procedures, and promotes continuous quality improvementProvide education, training and direction to new technologistsAccurately document CT data into patient's chartAccording to department standards and protocols set by radiologist, perform all job related functions as a CT Technologist, including all imaging procedures in a timely and efficient manner, and communicate related information to appropriate physicianPerform all other duties as assignedFrequent lifting/movement of objects weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistanceMust be able to stand, stoop, lift and walk without restrictionsQualities You Should Possess:Quick, accurate decision makingAbility to perform effectively under stressful situationsExceptional attention to detail, highly organizedTechnical, skilled expertiseEffective, composed communication to address patient's questionsInterpersonal skills, with passion and sensitivity towards patient careEducation, Experience & Requirements:Graduate of an accredited radiological technology program and/or accredited CT programARRT registered in radiography (CT specific registered preferred)Previous experience in diagnostic radiology/imaging settingPrior experience favorable with Siemens CT equipment slice scannersProficiency running advanced CT studies independentlyIEMA LicensureCPR-BLS CertificationBenefits & Total Rewards:Paid time offPaid on-site training401(k) with 4% company match, when eligibleCompetitive pay and growth opportunitiesQuarterly appreciation Breakfast/LunchBright Light Medical Imaging is impacted by the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for recruiting from vendors such as Indeed, Glassdoor, Zip Recruiter and LinkedIn as a result of these vendor's presentation of received resumes in their portal.
