About the Position

We are seeking a Physician specializing in Urology for a 144-day assignment in New York. The role involves a consistent clinic schedule four days a week from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with dedicated OR days on Monday or Thursday. This position requires active participation in night and weekend call rotations, primarily focusing on general urology procedures, robotic and laparoscopic surgeries, and patient rounding. Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage clinic duties with night and weekend call responsibilities, serving as first call.
• Participate in alternating 7-on, 7-off schedules with another provider.
• Perform OR procedures and patient rounds on Mondays.
• Conduct clinic activities Tuesday through Friday.
• Provide out of house call coverage on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Round independently, with some APP oversight.
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations exclusively.
• Perform robotic and laparoscopic surgeries.
• Execute procedures including robotics cases, cystoscopy, and vasectomy.

• Board Certifications: Urology, Urological Surgery
• Other Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• EMR: Epic
• Setting: Clinic and Call
• Call Schedule: Night and weekend call rotation, out of house call from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM with APP support for first call.
• Patient Volume: 30-40 patients per day in clinic; rounding on 2-3 post-operative patients when on that unit.
• LOA: 144 Days
• Staffing Mix: Two full-time APPs on staff; potential for another MD onsite.
