Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary: Providing specialized nursing care within a Medical-Surgical ICU, the Registered Nurse will deliver critical patient management and ensure high-quality clinical outcomes. This role requires a proactive approach to patient care, adherence to safety protocols, and effective collaboration with healthcare teams. Responsibilities: Administer evidence-based nursing interventions to critically ill patients in the ICU setting. Monitor patient vitals, adjust treatments, and escalate issues promptly. Document patient progress accurately in the electronic health record system, Epic. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations, including certifications such as ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS. Educate patients and families on condition management and post-discharge care. Qualifications: Hold a current state or compact nursing license at the time of application. Possess at least 2 years of ICU experience, with travel experience preferred. Maintain certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS. Demonstrate proficiency in Epic charting and critical patient care procedures. Exhibit strong assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills.
