Student Services Coordinator Elaine Sterling Institute | Atlanta, GA Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with one late evening and one Saturday required on a rotating basis. Reports To: Director of Student Development Make a Difference in Students' Lives Elaine Sterling Institute is seeking a compassionate, organized, and student-focused Student Services Coordinator to support our students from enrollment through graduation and beyond. This highly visible role serves as a trusted resource for students while helping drive retention, engagement, academic success, and career readiness. What You'll Do As the Student Services Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting the success of our students by: Providing individualized support and guidance to students experiencing academic, attendance, personal, or social challenges Assisting students with academic planning, program requirements, and Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Monitoring attendance, Leave of Absence (LOA) requests, re-enrollments, withdrawals, and student records Identifying at-risk students and implementing retention strategies and intervention plans Coordinating student activities, events, workshops, and engagement initiatives Maintaining compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations, including FERPA requirements Managing student communications and serving as a liaison between students, faculty, and administration Supporting graduation readiness, licensure preparation, and student success initiatives Maintaining accurate student documentation and records within student information systems Assisting with compliance reporting, data analysis, and student services programs What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in Student Services, Student Affairs, Student Success, Academic Advising, Higher Education Administration, or a related field Experience supporting students in a postsecondary, vocational, career school, college, or university setting Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and student information systems Preferred Qualifications Experience with student retention, attendance management, SAP, or academic advising Experience working within vocational, technical, career, or postsecondary education environments Knowledge of FERPA and educational compliance requirements Experience coordinating student programs, activities, or events What Makes You Successful Empathetic and student-focused Approachable and relationship-driven Organized and detail-oriented Adaptable and resourceful Able to confidently navigate challenging student situations while providing support and accountability Why Elaine Sterling Institute?
