Board of Directors

Criteria for Board of Director Membership:

1. A Christian who believes in the death, resurrection and redeeming grace of our sins, provided by Jesus Christ on the Cross.
2. Collaborates with each other as well as trusted community leaders while referring to Biblical principles in the governance of Recover Hope. We also collaborate with non Faith business leaders
3. We embrace diversity within and outside of Recover Hope.
4. Is committed to treat every member of Recover Hope, its residents, and collaborators with respect and dignity no matter their beliefs.
5. Strives to serve others without judgment of personal choices that may have been affected by previous life experiences and environments.
6. Will refrain from prejudice of any residents or members of Recover Hope
7. Agrees to confidentiality in practice and by written agreement
8. Is committed to being an active member of the organization according to their skill sets and passions.
9. Agrees to not approach residents without proper training in trauma informed care and practices those principles once trained.
10. Is experienced in one or more of the following areas

Legislative Advocacy Legal Consultation

Writing Networking Curriculum Development

Strategic Planning Marketing

Information Technology Accounting

Budgeting Human Resources

Personal Development Teaching

Pastoral Care

● Board Members are expected to commit to at least three (3) to four (4) hours per month based on their position. Some positions may require more hours but all are welcome to complete more than the minimum hours. These hours are to be used in the furtherance of Recover Hope’s mission, vision, and values in relation to the particular position you hold.
