Nursing Supervisor Nights Per Diem

Job Overview The Nursing Supervisor contributes to organizational strategic planning and is responsible for hospital operations, implementation of standards of care, attainment of goals, and adoption of evidence‑based practices during night shifts in a per diem arrangement. Responsibilities and Essential Functions Implement the hospital's mission, vision, and core values for all staff on duty during off‑tours and weekends. Serve as an administrative leader and role model, directing nursing operations. Allocate resources to promote autonomous, effective, safe, cost‑efficient, and compassionate quality care. Facilitate an interactive management culture and develop collegial relationships among nursing personnel, other disciplines, and the broader healthcare community. Create learning experiences that promote respectful sharing of expertise and support the recruitment and retention of staff. Other duties: this description may not cover all activities; duties may change at any time with or without notice. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (required) or enrollment in a Bachelor's program with completion within one year; preferred Master's degree. Minimum seven years of experience as a licensed RN. New Jersey RN license or compact license endorsed for New Jersey. Previous Emergency and/or Critical Care experience preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA. Work Schedule Night shift 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, including weekends and rotating holidays; position is per diem.
